Central Berkshire adopted iScience at Nessacus Regional Middle School in grades 6-8. Similar to our K-5 FOSS Kits, iScience follows an inquiry-based approach. iScience is designed to support students as they transition to high school by incorporating investigative lab practices as well as critical thinking skills. "iScience meets students where they are through engaging features and thought-provoking questions that encourage them to relate the science concepts they learn to the world around them." Additionally, iScience offers opportunities for all students to access challenging content through a comprehensive digital platform.
